Welcome to the Carbonear & area Career Work Centre

The Carbonear Career Work Centre is open to people along the Baccalieu Trail, from Marysvale in Conception Bay, to Blaketown in Trinity Bay, as well as Whitbourne and Markland. The Centre provides people with access to the latest labour market information. One-on-one help and group training is also available for those who want to learn about the latest labour market trends or are looking for information on local, provincial and national labour market conditions. There are many supports available in the Centre to help people look for work or help them plan their careers. The Carbonear Career Work Centre provides free access to computers and the internet, along with a phone, fax machine and copier for those looking for work. People can also come into the Centre for help in writing a resume and preparing for an interview! Local newspapers are also available for your convenience.
